How it all started
Emma Richardson had always loved animals. After years working in pet care — from grooming salons to boarding facilities to pet retail — she noticed the same frustration coming up again and again: pet owners had to drive all over town to get everything their pet needed.
Food from one shop. Grooming from another. Training classes across the city. Boarding somewhere else entirely. None of these places talked to each other, and none of them really knew the pet.
She opened Mutts & Moggys with a clear vision: one destination where pet owners could find quality products, professional services, and staff who genuinely know and care about their pets. A place that remembers your dog's name, your cat's dietary needs, and the way your puppy likes to be groomed.
Eight years on, that vision hasn't changed. We've grown the team, expanded our product range, and added new services — but the principle remains the same. Your pet is family, and they deserve the best.

Head Groomer
Certified pet groomer with 8 years of experience. Jake specialises in breed-specific cuts and is known for his patience with nervous pets. He has a knack for turning the most reluctant dogs into repeat grooming fans.

Training Coordinator
